I have lived and worked in Campbell County for nearly my entire life, spending most of my adult years in Rustburg, Virginia. My professional journey began in my family’s business, Frank’s Place Auto Parts of Long Island, Virginia, which was founded by my grandfather, Frank Hodnett, in 1947.

For nearly 15 years, I served our rural community as an automotive professional, gaining a deep understanding of the value of hard work, strong relationships, and supporting local families through a small business. I later transitioned into sales and business development, serving Fortune 500 companies and government sectors, collaborating with organizations such as Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, TSMC, the Department of Defense, and FEMA.

While raising my family, I earned my Bachelor's Degree and later my MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. I currently live and work in Rustburg, Virginia, building a new industry vertical for a natural gas energy company. My wife and I are members of Thomas Road Baptist Church, and we have fond memories of our time as members of Hyland Heights Baptist Church, where we watched our children grow into young adults in Christ.

My daughter is married, works for Charles Schwab, and lives in Texas, while my son is a certified local welder at CTOS. My beautiful wife, who has been with me for more than 26 years, is pursuing a second BS degree, this time in Nursing from Liberty University, with plans to continue her more than 20 years of health care patient service.
